Happy Fall!
Being a Christian is like being a pumpkin.
God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all the yucky stuff-- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see.

"Therefore, those also who suffer according to the will of God shall entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right." - 1 Peter 4:19
I've said it for years, there is nothing good that God brings into your life by way of transformation that He doesn't bring through the funnel of perseverance. If God can get that one characteristic into your life, He can truly make you what He wants you to be.
First Peter 4:19 encourages us with, "Therefore let those who suffer according to God's will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good."
Did you hear what you're supposed to do? Entrust your soul to your faithful Creator. God is faithful to you. He's got His hand on the thermostat. The fire will not get too hot. He's watching the depth gauge; this trial will not get too deep. God puts up the boundaries to your trials. "That's all. That's my daughter. I know what she can handle. Not that much. Not there. Not now." God protects His own. He will not allow you to be tried beyond what you are able to take. And in the middle of it all, He tells you to entrust yourself to His care.
God knows you better than you know yourself. You're not going to lose it; you're going to be okay. You don't know what you are capable of when you're resting in God's strength and not your own. You're going to get through this one way or another. It's not going to last forever and you will get through it - because God is faithful. He's not tired and He's not wondering when this is going to be over.
Reassure yourself, "I'm not going under." You can keep going for another day, another week because God is producing staying power in you. The ability to remain in that marriage - as hard as it is. The ability to remain in that job - as hard as it is. The ability to stick with it in that difficult circumstance - no matter what. If God can produce in you that staying power, He can give you everything else.
The good's not coming if you quit. Listen, God can get every characteristic of Christ into your life if He can just teach you to stay in the game.
The Will of God Will never take you,
Where the Grace of God will not protect you!
Jesus Loves You...& Pets & Plants Too!
If your life is perfect & you have no problems..no need to read further!
"Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about what happens to you."
(1 Peter 5:7)
Wrapped in a drowning economy...within a dying world...we all need to be lifted up......a sense of peace..a sense of hope....comfort that there is light ...even in the midst of the storm.
There is light ......It won't cost you a thing.....
Jesus already paid!
I'm not hear to preach...just to pass on what I have experienced...the "Good News"...in a world of bad news!
When you are at rock-bottom...there is no where to look but up.
Looking back..I had no one to blame but myself. Bottom line....It was my choices that put me at rock bottom. Whether it was money..."fear of what others may think"...wanting to fit in....fear of the activities, friends or places I might have to sacrifice to get on the right path..Every situation led to a choice.
When ever I was down...I always seemed to turn to Mom! Mom always quoted a bible verse, prayed with me, and with a hug and a tears in her eyes..would tell me.."You know I love you..and Jesus loves you even more. If you will give it to him..he will take care of you. You need to "Let go & Let God!"
Heartbreaks & Devastations later..Suicidal......At "Rock Bottom"...I couldn't take it anymore...I hit my Knees hard..& gave it all to God! To make a long story short....Best Choice I ever made.
Has it been easy..NO!
Is my life perfect...NO!
Is my family perfect..NO!
Do I still make wrong choices..YES!
Do I still struggle,slip up and use curse words, get angry,road rage, worry, get overwhelmed & depressed...YES!
But not for very long.
I pray sincerely about it, & God gives me a sence of peace inside..that surpasses all understanding!
He will do the same for you if you let him.
How To Become a Christian
1. Be Receptive to the word of God ( Romans 10:17, 2nd Timothy 3:16,17)
2. Recognize your sins. (Romans 3:23 & 6:23)
3. Repent your Sins (Luke 13:3, Acts 2:38)
4. Realize your need of a savior (Roman5:8)
5. Receive Jesus as Your Lord & Savior (Romans 10:9-10,13)
It is a wonderful place full of wonderful people...just like you and me.
Very casual...upbeat...great music...and plenty of fun and love for everyone of all ages. I'm sure if you are not local..there is a great place to plug in near you!
